It is entirely possible that before you even have any inkling of going to sleep, you wake next morning feeling refreshed and alert.

2. Get yourself a sound generator and make sure it comes with a guarantee for life, if possible. Put the sound generator near the head of your bed and set it for whatever sound it makes that you find most relaxing. This is called a white noise in the background and will distract your brain from the tinnitus noise.

3. If a sound generator isn’t for you, try to place a fan in your room at night or an air purifier. They will both produce the kind of ambient soft noise that is able to diflect your brain away from listening for tinnitus.
