So you’ve finally managed to land that cheap ticket to Egypt and made all your bookings. But what are you going to do there?
There are plenty of things to do in Egypt. Sightseeing is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this country. There are so many beautiful sights to see and the first place that comes to your mind, I am sure, must be the Pyramids.
This is just one of the places you should see in Egypt. Believe me when I say that there are plenty of places apart from the pyramids that is just as fascinating here in Egypt.Or perhaps you might be interested in a cruise down the river nile.
For the food junkies out there, you will be pleased to know that Egypt has a grand lineup of tasty local delicacies that pretty much anyone would enjoy.
The first thing you need to realize is that the local cuisine here in Egypt span from the lowly sandwich up to the most luxurious meals in the kingdom. When it comes to looking for a place to eat, you will find that you have so many options available to you.
But of course, it also depends on how much you are willing to spend on food.
While eating maybe one of the things to do in Egypt for some people, there are few people who are looking for something different. Many a tourist come to Egypt solely to test their luck in the grand casinos here.
It might be hard to believe at first, but there are over 24 casinos across Egypt and if you are looking for things to do in Egypt and you like visiting the casino once in a while, then maybe you can visit one of the casinos in the country to spend your time and see how the atmosphere there is.
Mind you, I am not encouraging you to go to casinos. I’m just letting you know that this is an option available to you if you are looking for things to do in Egypt.
Or maybe perhaps shopping is more up your forte? Most tourists loves to shop in Egypt – the country is rather well known for its shopping experience.
Shopping trips to Eqypt can be very memorable, which is why Egypt is a popular holiday destination for shopaholics.
If you are planning to visit Cairo then you will love shopping in the Khan-el-Khalili. If you’re looking for any reproductions of antiques, here is the place to search for. Chances are if they don’t have it here, you can’t find it anywhere else. If you are looking for utensils, spices or jewelry; you will also find them at Khan-el-Khalili.
Modern, trendy and upbeat shopping malls can also be spotted here near the Tehrir Square. When you are looking for things to do in Egypt and you think of going shopping, you should know how to bargain. Some shops have fixed prices but in some shops you can bargain.
Visiting theme parks are also one of the things you can do when in Egypt. Your kids will love you for bringing them here. Some of the theme parks here that I will recommend are Dream Park and Fantazyland. These 2 are the best theme parks to go from my experience.
