Gap Year Diving throws up severel conundrums, with so many places to go and things to do it can be tricky to decide. Koh Tao Divemaster Course are popular options no doubt especially for people taking a gap year or looking for a fitness holiday. But there are also many options available to the wanna be diver.
So what is a Koh Tao divemaster course? A divemaster, is a PADI sub aqua qualification, which is the first professional level diving qualification, and is attained after completeing your open water, advanced and rescue qualification. The fact that you can work after completing this, makes it the ideal gap year diving qualification.
Koh Tao Divemaster courses represent some of the cheapest divemaster courses around. This is because the island qualifies the largest number of scuba divers on the plant with over 30 dive school touting for business, competition ensures the prices are kept low.
Of course you many not want to do as far as completeing you Koh Tao Divemaster course, you may just want to do a basic open water qualification. This is easily achieved when diving in Thailand. But for people that do want to complete their Divemaster in Thailand, then they can expect up to 12 weeks of diving in warm tropical waters, immersing them selves in the world of Whalesharks, bull sharks and millions of tropical fish.
However, if you do decide to go diving in Thailand and really want to complete your Koh Tao Divemaster course, then you can expect a who new experience to be opened up to you. Under the sea you can expect some cool marine life to surround you. Manta rays, Whale sharks an a multitude of awesome fish species.
