These lower back pain exercises are have been intended to be prescribed to help mild or moderate disc herniations like when you bend over to pick up a flower, and suddenly, your back seizes up.
First, do MacKenzie Pressups. . Press from your hands up, pushing your chest up as you breathe out ten times.
Our next step is the Hip Extensions. Lying on your back, have your soles of your feet as flat as possible, knees bent . Push your hips upwards by using the glutes. Hold for 5 seconds, and repeat 8 times.
Bird dogs. search on Youtube for many adequate tutorials of the Bird Dog exercise. The key point, sometimes not mentioned is dont your hips shift to the right or to the left. Do Bird Dogs for a total of four repetitions on each side, staying extended for a total of 10 seconds per each repetition.
Next is Side Plank. Lying on your side, your elbow and forearm contacting ground, press your hips upwards. Maintain for 10 seconds. Try for five reps for each side.
That wraps it up. Try this routine as necessary to heal your lower back problems. Alternatively, do this routine on a daily basis to prevent injuring your back at a later time.
